الجلاب

  و«الجلّابي» نسبة إلى جُلّاب بالضمّ، معرّب «كلاب» أي ماء الورد، واشتهر به إمّا لكون أخذه شغلاً لنفسه ودرّ معاشه أو كان شغلا لبعض أسلافه، وإما لكونه من أهل قرية الجلابيّة إحدى قرى واسط.
