لويس الثامن عشر

• With the agreement from the Holy Alliance, on 28 January 1823 Louis XVIII announced that "a hundred thousand Frenchmen are ready to march, invoking the name of Saint Louis, to safeguard the throne of Spain for a grandson of Henry IV of France".
  وبعدها أعلن لويس الثامن عشر في 28 يناير أن "مئات الآلاف من الفرنسيين مستعدون للزحف، وذكر اسم سانت لويس، للحفاظ على عرش إسبانيا لحفيد هنري الرابع ملك فرنسا".
• King Louis XVIII also built the Chapelle expiatoire, a chapel devoted to Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, on the site of the small Madeleine cemetery, where their remains (now in the Basilica of Saint-Denis) were buried following their execution.
  كما قام الملك لويس الثامن عشر ببناء مصلى كنسي، وهي كنيسة صغيرة مكرسة ل لويس السادس عشر وماري أنطوانيت، على موقع مقبرة مادلين الصغيرة، حيث دفن رفاتهم (الآن في كنيسة سانت دوني) بعد إعدامهم.
• In a long and eventful career, he was successively a monarchist deputy during the Revolution and under the Directoire, an exile during the Terror, a deputy under Napoleon, Minister of the Interior to Louis XVIII and eventually, at the end of his political career, a simple ultra-royalist deputy.
  في طوال حياته المهنية المتقلبة، كان مستشارا للملكية خلال الثورة وعضوا في المجلس الحاكم بعد الثورة،، مستشارا لدى نابليون ووزير داخلية لدى لويس الثامن عشر وفي نهاية حياته السياسية أصبح من دعاة الملكية.
