An Ottoman firman of 1572 describes Saffuriyya as one of a group of villages within the sanjak of Safad, which was part of the Qaysi faction, and that had rebelled against the Ottoman authorities. ويصف فرمان عثماني من عام 1572 صفورية كواحدة من مجموعة من القرى داخل سنجق صفد، والتي كانت جزءًا من فصيل القيسي، والتي تمردت على السلطات العثمانية.
Still awaiting imperial permission to build in the courtyard, the Perushim wished to rely on an old firman given to the Jews in 1623, which stated that there could be no objection to them building in their own quarters. وفي انتظار فرمان سلطاني للبناء في الباحة، ود الپروشيم أن يعتمدوا على فرمان قديم مُنح لليهود في عام 1623، والذي ينص على أن لا مانع من البناء في أحيائهم.
