The CTF-150 established the Maritime Security Patrol Area on 22 August 2008, through a narrow corridor within the Gulf of Aden aimed at deterring attack and hijacking of ships seeking safe passage through the zone. وأسست فرقة العمل المشتركة 150 منطقة دورية أمنية بحرية في 22 أغسطس 2008، عبر ممر ضيق في خليج عدن بهدف ردع الهجمات وحوادث خطف السفن للحصول على ممر آمن في المنطقة.

He has chaired several high-level meetings of signatories resulting in ‘Jeddah Amendment to Djibouti Code of Conduct 2017’ and revisions of the code of conduct for the repression of piracy, armed robbery against ships and illicit maritime activity in the western Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden Area. ترأس معاليه عدة أجتماعات عالية المستوى للدول الموقعة على مدونة سلوك جيبوتي والتي أثمرت عن "تعديل جدة لمدونة جيبوتي للسلوك , عام 2017 حيث تمت مراجعة المدونة لتشمل مكافحة القرصنة والسطو المسلح على السفن والأنشطة البحرية غير المشروعة في غربي المحيط الهندي وخليج عدن.
