The spiritual and economic importance of the Kaaba and Mecca are pretty hard to seperate as far as the pre-Islamic Arabs are concerned. الأهمية الروحية والإقتصادية للكعبة داخل مكة كان يصعب فصلهما عن بعضهما قبل الإسلام
He especially declared that no unbeliever, pagan, and naked man would be allowed to circumambulate the Kaaba from the next year. وأعلن بشكل خاص أنه لن يسمح لأي كافر وثني وعاري بتطويق الكعبة من العام المقبل.

Once, when the Kaaba fell into disrepair, the clan chieftains quarrelled over who would have the honour of putting the sacred black stone back where it belonged. ذات مرة عندما حدث خلاف فى الكعبة حول من يكون له الشرف من رؤساء القبائل فى وضع الحجر الأسود فى مكانه
It was said the Hebrew patriarch Abraham himself built the Kaaba centuries before and that a sacred black stone it held within had fallen from the sky. يقال أن النبى إبراهيم بنفسه هو من قام ببناء الكعبة من قرون مضت وأن حجرا أسودا محفوظ داخلها قد سقط من السماء
