Today, Greeks are the majority ethnic group in the Hellenic Republic, where they constitute 93% of the country's population, and the Republic of Cyprus where they make up 78% of the island's population (excluding Turkish settlers in the occupied part of the country). اليوم، اليونانيون هم المجموعة العرقية التي تشكل الغالبية السكانيَّة في الجمهورية الهيلينية، حيث يشكلون 93% من سكان البلاد، وجمهورية قبرص حيث يشكلون 78% من سكان الجزيرة (بإستثناء المستوطنين الأتراك في الجزء المحتل من البلاد).
