The Barzan Towers were built in the late 19th century and were renovated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim Al Thani in the early 20th century to serve as watchtowers against the incoming Ottoman soldiers. تم بناء أبراج برزان في أواخر القرن التاسع عشر وتم تجديدها من قبل محمد بن قاسم آل ثاني في أوائل القرن العشرين لتكون بمثابة أبراج مراقبة ضد الجنود العثمانيين القادمين.
