التهاب الملتحمة

• Allergic conjunctivitis is a frequent condition as it is estimated to affect 20 percent of the population on an annual basis and approximately one-half of these people have a personal or family history of atopy.
  التهاب الملتحمة الأرجي هو حالة متكررة، ويقدر إصابة 20% من السكان سنوياً وحوالي نصف هؤلاء الناس لديهم تاريخ شخصي أو عائلي من تأهب للأرجية.
• It may cause redness or conjunctivitis (inflammation) and also blurs near vision for a short while after instillation (care must be taken, and the patient must only drive when vision returns to normal).
  كما وقد يسبب احمرار العين أو التهاب الملتحمة وكما يسبب غباشا في الرؤية القريبة لفترة قصيرة بعد تطبيقها ( فيجب توخي الحذر ويجب على المريض القيادة فقط عندما تعود الرؤية إلى طبيعتها ).
• A study by Klein et al. showed that in addition to the physical discomfort allergic conjunctivitis causes, it also alters patients' routines, with patients limiting certain activities such as going outdoors, reading, sleeping, and driving.
  دراسات لكلاين و آخرين أظهرت أنه بالإضافة إلى عدم الراحة الجسدية التي يسببها التهاب الملتحمة الأرجي فإنه يؤثر على الروتين الحياتي للمرضى فقد يحد من بعض الأنشطة مثل الخروج من المنزل، والقراءة، والنوم، والقيادة.
