• In 2002, Afghanistan adopted a new press law that contained a sanction against publication of “matters contrary to the principles of Islam or offensive to other religions and sects.”
  وفي عام 2002 اعتمدت أفغانستان قانوناً صحفياً جديداً يتضمن عقوبة ضد نشر "مسائل تتعارض مع مبادئ الإسلام أو الإعتداء على الأديان والطوائف الأخرى".
• In September 2008, the Afghan parliament passed a new media law which prohibits works and materials that are contrary to the principles of Islam, works and materials offensive to other religions and sects, and propagation of religions other than Islam.
  في سبتمبر عام 2008، أصدر البرلمان الأفغاني قانوناً إعلامياً جديداً يحظر المصنفات والمواد التي تتنافى مع مبادئ الإسلام والأعمال والمواد التي تهاجم الأديان والطوائف الأخرى، ونشر الأديان غير الإسلامية.
• However, according to historian Zachary T. Irwin, the degree to which the Muslim community was repressed and dispersed was lower in Romania than in other countries of Eastern Europe, and the measures were less severe than, for instance, those taken against Romanian Roman Catholics and Protestants.
  رغم ذلك ووفقاً للمؤرخ زاشاري إروين، فقد كانت كافَّة أنواع القمع والاضطهاد التي مارسها الحكم الشيوعي على الأقليات المسلمة في رومانيا أقلَّ وطأةً ممَّا كانت عليه في بلدان أخرى بأوروبا الشرقية، وكانت التدابير التي اتُّخذت بحقّ المسلمين أقل حدة من تلك التي اتخذت بحق الطوائف الأخرى مثل الكاثوليك والبروتستانت الرومانيين.
• It expressed wishes that in those regions of Galicia where the Ruthenian (Ukrainian) population represented majority, the Ukrainian language should be taught at schools and used to announce official decrees for the peasantry; local officials were expected to understand it and the Ruthenian clergy was to be equalized in their rights with the clergy of all other denominations.
  وأعربوا عن رغبتهم في أن تدرس اللغة الأوكرانية في مدارس مناطق غاليسيا حيث يمثل السكان الروثينيون (الأوكرانيون) الأغلبية، وأن تستخدم في المراسيم الرسمية للفلاحين؛ كان من المتوقع أن يفهم المسؤولون المحليون أن رجال الدين الروثينيين يجب أن يكونوا متساوين في حقوقهم مع رجال الدين من جميع الطوائف الأخرى.
