• Standard Dutch was historically largely based on the dialect of the County of Holland, incorporating many traits derived from the dialects of the previously more powerful Duchy of Brabant and County of Flanders.
  وقد استندت الهولندية الفصحى تاريخياً إلى حد كبير على لهجة مقاطعة هولندا، وتتضمن العديد من الصفات المشتقة من لهجات دوقية برابنت التي كانت تفوقها قوة في السابق، ومقاطعة فلانديرز.
• Modern Standard Arabic serves as the standardized and literary variety of Arabic used in writing, as well as in most formal speech, although it is not used in daily speech by the overwhelming majority of Arabs.

• In addition to the eloquence and artistic value, pre-Islamic poetry constitutes a major source for classical Arabic language both in grammar and vocabulary, and as a reliable historical record of the political and cultural life of the time.

• According to a 2000–2002 survey done by Moha Ennaji, author of Multilingualism, Cultural Identity, and Education in Morocco, "there is a general agreement that Standard Arabic, Moroccan Arabic, and Berber are the national languages."
  ووفقاَ لدراسة في عامي 2000-2002 التي أجراها (موحا الناجي) مؤلف كتاب (تعدد اللغات، الهوية الثقافية، التربية والتعليم في المغرب) "يوجد اتفاق عام على أن اللغة العربية الفصحى، واللهجة العربية المغربية و الأمازيغية هي اللغات القومية ".
• Today, Holland proper is the region where the original dialects are least spoken, in many areas having been completely replaced by standard Dutch, and the Randstad has the largest influence on the developments of the standard language—with the exception of the Dutch spoken in Belgium.
  اليوم هولندا الأوروبية هي أقل منطقة تتحدث اللهجات الأصلية، حيث استبدلت العديد من المناطق لهجاتها بالهولندية الفصحى، وكان لمنطقة الراندستاد التأثير الأكبر على تطور الهولندية باستثناء الهولندية المتحدثة في بلجيكا.
• Ennaji said "most Moroccans know that Standard Arabic does not meet all their societal needs and that a European language is necessary for the transfer of ideas and technology, and for communication with the world at large, even if this European language is none but the ex-coloniser's language."
  ويقول الناجي "معظم المغاربة يعلمون أن اللغة العربية الفصحى لا تلبي جميع احتياجاتهم الاجتماعية ، وبأنه من الضروري وجود لغة أوروبية لانتقال الأفكار و التكنولوجيا ، وللتواصل مع العالم على نطاق واسع ،حتى و إن كانت تلك اللغة هي مجرد لغة الاستعمار السابق."
• After this album he was praised when many artists who the legend late Talal Maddah and artist Arab Mohammed Abdo After Album Sabrin launched Rabah Album love and it contains six works mostly composed by Rabah himself and repeat winner in this album experience singing in classical Arabic in song Iabreq water.
  وبعد هذا الألبوم أشاد فيه كثير من الفنانين منهم الأسطورة الراحل طلال مداح وفنان العرب محمد عبده وبعد البوم صابرين أطلق رابح صقر البوم احبك وكان يحتوي على ستة أعمال جلها من الحان رابح صقر نفسه وكرر رابح في هذا الألبوم تجربة الغناء باللغة العربية الفصحى في أغنية "يابريق الماء".
• When using Chinese characters to write a non-Mandarin form, standard practice is to use characters that correspond etymologically to the words being represented, and to invent new characters for words with no evident ancient Chinese etymology or in some cases for alternative pronunciations of existing characters, especially when the meaning is significantly different.
  عند استخدام المقاطع الصينية في كتابة شكل بغير اللغة الصينية الفصحى، فإن أفضل أسلوب يتمثل في استخدام المقاطع التي تتوافق اشتقاقيًا مع الكلمات التي يتم تمثيلها، وابتكار مقاطع جديدة للكلمات مع عدم وجود أي دليل لأصل الكلمة الصينية القديمة أو في بعض الحالات لكلمات منطوقة بديلة خاصة بالمقاطع الموجودة، لا سيما عندما يكون المعنى مختلفًا تمامًا.
