  وشاع اعتقاد عام بأن الفيلة التي استخدمت في الحرب كانت كلها من الذكور ويرجع سبب ذلك إلى ما لدى الذكور من عدوانية أكثر ولكن السبب الأكثر وراء ذلك هو هروب أنثى الفيل من الذكر على أرض المعركة؛ ولذلك لم يمكن استخدام سوى ذكور الفيلة في الحرب، بينما استخدمت الإناث في اللوجستيات.

• Earlier in the week, IDF Spokesperson clarified that a comment attributed to Israeli Technological and Logistics Directorate chief, Brigadier-General Avi Mizrahi, where he reportedly said that "if our fighters deep in Lebanese territory are left without food or water, I believe they can break into local Lebanese stores to solve that problem", was not made by him.

  وقد أنشئت هذه المنظمة في عام 1989 من أجل تعزيز التعاون وموازنة التنافس بين القوات المسلحة، وهو مرسوم مباشرة من قبل المرشد الأعلى لإيران، في حين أن وزارة الدفاع وإسناد القوات المسلحة، المسؤولة عن التخطيط واللوجستيات وتمويل القوات المسلحة هي جزء من السلطة التنفيذية تحت إشراف رئيس الجمهورية في إيران.
