النظام الجمهوري

• A royal family or dynasty in a monarchy is generally considered to not be a "political family," although the later descendants of a royal family have played political roles in a republic (such as the Arslan Family of Lebanon would be).
  والعائلة المالكة أو السلالة الحاكمة في النظام الملكي لا تُعتبَر عادةً "عائلة سياسية"، وإن كانت سلالتها تتولى أدوارًا سياسية فيما بعد في النظام الجمهوري (مثل عائلة أرسلان في لبنان).
• The Age of Reason belongs to this later, more radical stage of the British political reform movement, one that openly embraced republicanism and atheism and is exemplified by such texts as William Godwin's Political Justice (1793).
  وينتمي مؤلف "عصر العقل" إلى المرحلة الأكثر راديكاليّة من حركات الإصلاح السياسيّ البريطانيّ، تلك التي نادت بالنظام الجمهوري والإلحاد، وكان مثالها نصوص عدة مثل مؤلف الفيلسوف ويليام غودوين الذي حمل عنوان "تحري حول العدالة السياسية" (1793).
• Some time after the Homeland Officers' Organization, or "Al-Ahrar" ("The Free") succeeded in toppling the monarchy and transforming the Iraqi government into a republic in 1958, signs of differences between political parties and forces and the Homeland Officers' Organization began when Pan-Arab nationalist forces led by Abdul Salam Arif and the Ba'ath Party called for immediate unification with the United Arab Republic (UAR).
  بعد فترة زمنية قليلة من نجاح تنظيم الضباط الوطنيين "أو الأحرار" في العراق في الإطاحة بنظام الحكم الملكي وتحويل نظام الحكم في العراق إلى النظام الجمهوري في عام 1958، بدأت بوادر الخلافات بين الأحزاب والقوى السياسية والضباط الوطنيين أو "الأحرار"، حيث كانت القوى القومية بزعامة العقيد عبد السلام عارف وحزب البعث تنادي بالوحدة الفورية مع الجمهورية العربية المتحدة.
