محافظة الحسكة

• Qamishli is one of the last places in northeast where government forces, having been pushed out of most of Hasakah Governorate by either rebel groups or the Kurdish-autonomist forces of the YPG, still maintain some presence.
  لا تزال القامشلي أحد الأماكن الأخيرة في الشمال الشرقي حيث لا تزال القوات الحكومية، بعد دفعها إلى خارج معظم محافظة الحسكة سواء من قبل جماعات المتمردين أو القوات الكردية شبه المستقلة التابعة لوحدات حماية الشعب، تحتفظ ببعض التواجد.
• Rebel leader Nawaf Ragheb al-Bashir, a prominent Arab tribal figure from Hasakah Province who has engaged in disputes with Kurds in the past, stated that his forces "will not allow the separatists to control province because it is the richest part of Syria in terms of oil and agriculture".
  زعيم المتمردين نواف راغب البشير، وهو شخصية قبلية عربية بارزة من محافظة الحسكة التي اشتبكت مع الأكراد في الماضي، قال إن قواته "لن تسمح للانفصاليين بالتحكم بمحافظة لأنها أغنى جزء من سوريا من حيث النفط والزراعة".
• Nevertheless, some Kurdish activists were sceptical that both warring sides desired such an agreement, while the FSA-aligned Arab Revolutionary-Military Council in Hasakah Province refused any truce with Kurdish fighters, stating that it only would accept the domination of the mainstream Syrian opposition over the region.
  إلا أن بعض النشطاء الأكراد أعربوا عن مخاوفهم من أن الطرفين المتحاربين يرغبان في مثل هذا الاتفاق، في حين رفض المجلس الثوري العسكري العربي التابع للجيش الحر في محافظة الحسكة أي هدنة مع المقاتلين الأكراد، مشيرا إلى انه لن يقبل سوى هيمنة المعارضة السورية الرئيسية على المنطقة.

• The Battle of Al-Hasakah (2015) started as an offensive launched in the Al-Hasakah Governorate during the Syrian Civil War, in which the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) attempted to capture the city of Al-Hasakah, which was divided into two areas held separately by the Syrian Armed Forces and the Kurdish YPG.
  بدأت معركة الحسكة (2015) كهجوم في محافظة الحسكة خلال الحرب الأهلية السورية، التي حاول فيها تنظيم الدولة الإسلامية في العراق والشام (داعش) الاستيلاء على مدينة الحسكة، التي قسمت إلى منطقتين منفصلتين من قبل القوات المسلحة السورية ووحدات حماية الشعب الكردية.
• The FSA-affiliated Revolutionary Military Council in Hasakah Province demanded that the town and border crossing be handed over to the sole political control of the SNC, that FSA-affiliated fighters be the only force exercising military control in the town, that the PYD submit to the SNC as the sole legitimate governing force in the region, and that the display of Kurdish flags in Hasakah Province be prohibited.
  وطالب المجلس العسكري الثوري التابع للجيش الحر في محافظة الحسكة بتسليم البلدة والمعبر الحدودي إلى السيطرة السياسية الوحيدة للمجلس الوطني السوري، وأن المقاتلين المنتسبين إلى الجيش الحر هم القوة الوحيدة التي تمارس السيطرة العسكرية في البلدة، وأن يذعن حزب الاتحاد الديمقراطي إلى المجلس الوطني السوري كقوة حاكمة شرعية وحيدة في المنطقة، وان يمنع عرض الأعلام الكردية في محافظة الحسكة.
