The Bern Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats, also known as the Bern Convention (or Berne Convention), is a binding international legal instrument in the field of Nature Conservation, it covers the natural heritage in Europe, as well as in some African countries. The moral rights regime differs greatly between countries, but typically includes the right to be identified as the author of the work and the right to object to any distortion or mutilation of the work which would be prejudicial to his or her honor or reputation (Article 6bis, Berne Convention). ويختلف نظام الحقوق الأخلاقية كثيراً بين الدول، ولكنه يتضمن عموماً حق المؤلف باعتباره مؤلف العمل المُنجز، وحق الاعتراض على أي تشويه أو إفساد له قد يُلحق الضرر باحترامه أو سمعته (النسخة الثانية من المادة 6 من اتفاقية برن)، كما تكون الحقوق الأخلاقية للمؤلفين دائمة في العديد من الدول.
