February 2 – Prime Minister of Israel Ariel Sharon announces to the Ha'aretz newspaper that he plans to dismantle 17 Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip and says that he foresees a time when there are no Jews in Gaza at all. رئيس وزراء إسرائيل ارييل شارون يعلن لصحيفة هآرتس أنه يخطط لتفكيك 17 مستوطنة إسرائيلية في قطاع غزة .
The IDF reported that dozens of Palestinians hurled rocks at a military guard tower next to an Israeli settlement in Hebron and a soldier shot the ringleader, a 14-year-old Palestinian boy. وأفاد الجيش الإسرائيلي أن العشرات من الفلسطينيين ألقوا الحجارة على برج حراسة عسكرية بجانب مستوطنة إسرائيلية في الخليل فقام جندي بأطلق النار على زعيم المجموعة ، وهو صبي فلسطيني عمره 14 سنة.
The Supreme Court of Israel has ruled that labour laws applied in this way also apply to those Palestinian workers in Israeli settlements due to the "significant linkages" test and the principle of equality within the settlements. قضت المحكمة العليا في إسرائيل بأن قوانين العمل المطبقة بهذه الطريقة تنطبق أيضاً على العمال الفلسطينيين في المستوطنات الإسرائيلية بسبب معيار "الارتباطات المهمة" ومبدأ المساواة داخل المستوطنات.

The party leader, Avigdor Lieberman, advocated an ethnicity based territory exchange, the Lieberman Plan, by transferring heavily populated Arab areas (mainly the Triangle), to Palestinian Authority control and annexing major Jewish Israeli settlement blocs in the West Bank close to the green line as part of a peace proposal. زعيم الحزب أفيغدور ليبرمان، عرُف عن دعوته إلى الترانسفير كحل للصراع العربي-الإسرائيلي، وذلك عن طريق تحويل المناطق العربية (أساسًا منطقة المثلث)، لسيطرة السلطة الفلسطينية وضم الكتل الإستيطانية اليهودية الكبرى كالمستوطنات في الضفة الغربية إلى إسرائيل كجزء من اقتراح السلام.

In June 2018, the Socialist International issued a Declaration expressing support for "Boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against the Israeli occupation, all the occupation institutions, and the illegal Israeli settlements including the total embargo on all forms of military trade and cooperation with Israel as long as it continues its policies of occupation and Apartheid against the Palestinian people". في يونيو 2018، أصدرت الأممية الأشتراكية تصريح سريع يدعم «المقاطعة والعقوبات وسحب الأستثمارات ضد الإحتلال الإسرائيلي، كل مؤسسات الأحتلال، والمستوطنات الإسرائيلية غير الشرعية وتشمل حظر تجاري على كل أشكال التجارة العسكرية والتعاون مع إسرائيل ما دامت مستمره بسياساتها الأحتلالية والأبارتيد ضد الشعب الفلسطيني».
