• The Syrian government claimed "terrorists" destroyed a gas pipeline near Rastan, disrupting the electricity supply to parts of the country.

• A leader of an opposition battalion said that 42 people were killed in the city of Rastan in the previous days.
  أمّا زعيم الكتائب المعارضة فقد تحدث حولَ الخسائر مؤكدًا على مقتل 42 شخصًا في مدينة الرستن في الأيام السابقة.
• Civilians, including women and children, were kidnapped and taken to Al-Rastan Plains with some news sources putting the number kidnapped at 70.
