رسم الحدود

• On 29 June 1953, the then Apostolic Prefecture of Kuwait (which has become the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia) was separated from the Apostolic Vicariate of Arabia, and a subsequent redrawing of boundaries in 2011 reduced its jurisdiction to the countries of Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
  في 29 يونيو 1953 انفصلت محافظة الرسولية للكويت (التي تعرف الآن باسم النيابة الرسولية العربية الشمالية) عن النيابة الرسولية العربية وتم إعادة رسم الحدود لاحقًا في عام 2011 وتخفيض اختصاصها إلى بلدان عمان، الإمارات، واليمن.
• This bridge is the first land crossing ever opened between France and Brazil, and indeed between French Guiana and the rest of the world (there exists no other bridge crossing the Oyapock River, and no bridge crossing the Maroni River marking the border with Suriname).
  وسيكون هذا الجسر أول معبر بري يتم افتتاحه بين فرنسا والبرازيل، وبين غويانا الفرنسية وبقية العالم في واقع الأمر، إذ لا يوجد أي جسر آخر عبر نهر أويابوك أو نهر ماروني الذي يرسم الحدود مع سورينام، حيث يتم النقل هناك عن طريق العبارات إلى ألبينا بسورينام.
• However, upon independence the border became an international frontier, and the two governments could not agree on the line that the border should take along its entire length, and they looked back to the colonial period treaties between Italy and Ethiopia for a basis in international law for the precise line of the frontier between the states.
