  كانت هناك تقارير غير مؤكدة عن غارة قام بها الجيش الإسرائيلي في وقت متأخر من الليل على النطاق الغربي للجبال اللبنانية، واستهدفت أربع غارات تابعة للقوات المسلحة الإسرائيلية طريق فاريا حول الهرمل في سهل البقاع.
• Attacks against the Rayak air base in the eastern Bekaa Valley near the Syrian border and the Qulayaat military airport (also known as Kleyate or Rene Mouawad airport) in northern Lebanon were the first attacks against Lebanon's army in the conflict.
  وكانت الهجمات على قاعدة رياق الجوية في سهل البقاع الشرقي بالقرب من الحدود السورية ومطار قليعات العسكري (المعروف أيضا باسم مطار قليط أو رينيه معوض) في شمال لبنان أول الهجمات على الجيش اللبناني في الصراع.
• Also, near the Lebanese town of Ain el-Jaouze, which is close to the border area between Lebanon and Syria, and Damascus itself, Hezbollah fighters attacked a rebel rocket team which was reportedly preparing to fire rockets into Shi'ite areas of the Lebanese Beqaa Valley.

• 33 civilian farm workers are killed and 20 wounded after Israeli airstrike in a farm near Qaa in Lebanon, close to the Lebanon-Syria border in the Beqaa valley A hospital official and the mayor said all the casualties were Syrian workers, and security forces said most of the casualties were employees or truck drivers.
  قتل 33 مزارعاً مدنياً وجرح 20 آخرون بعد غارة جوية إسرائيلية على مزرعة بالقرب من "القاع" في لبنان على مقربة من الحدود اللبنانية السورية فيسهل البقاع وقال مسؤول في المستشفى ورئيس البلدية إن جميع الضحايا كانوا من العمال السوريين، وقالت القوات ان معظم الضحايا كانوا من العاملين او سائقى الشاحنات.
• According to the Israeli Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC) at the Center for Special Studies (CSS), the Imam al-Mahdi Scouts were established in 1985 and are operated under the jurisdiction of the Lebanese Ministry of Education despite the movement's instructing tens of thousands of children and teenagers in military tactics and that they are "indoctrinated with the principles of radical Iranian Islam" at summer training camps in Shi'a communities in Beirut, the Beqaa Valley and south Lebanon.
