The Hope Probe will carry three scientific instruments to study the Martian atmosphere, which include a digital camera for high resolution coloured images, an infrared spectrometer that will examine the temperature patterns, ice, water vapors in the atmosphere, and an ultraviolet spectrometer that will study the upper atmosphere and traces of oxygen and hydrogen further out into space. ويحمل مسبار الأمل على متنه ثلاثة أجهزة علمية لدراسة الغلاف الهوائي لكوكب المريخ وهي تشمل كاميرا رقمية تنتج صوراً ملونة عالية الدقة، ومقياس طيفي بالأشعة تحت الحمراء لدراسة أنماط التغيرات في درجات الحرارة والجليد وبخار الماء في الجو، ومقياس طيفي بالأشعة فوق البنفسجية لدراسة الطبقات العليا من الغلاف الجوي وتعقب آثار غازيّ الأكسجين والهيدروجين في الفضاء.
