  ويعود هذا المصطلح إلى إصابة الرأس الخفيفة, وتحدث هذه الإصابة بسبب ضربة على الرأس, بحيث يجعل الارتجاج السلوك الجسدي والإدراكي والعاطفي للمريض غير منتظم.
