Before the reign of terror reached its climax, Forster died after a rheumatic illness in his small attic apartment at Rue des Moulins in Paris in January 1794, at the age of thirty-nine. توفي فورستر بعد معاناة من مرض روماتيزمي وحيدا في شقته الصغيرة في شارع ديه مولان، في باريس في يناير 1794.
Sydenham's chorea results from childhood infection with Group A beta-haemolytic Streptococcus and is reported to occur in 20–30% of people with acute rheumatic fever (ARF). ينتج رقاص سيدنهام من عدوى بالبكتريا الكروية السبحية مجموعة أ تحلل بيتا في سن الطفولة وتبين أنه يحدث في 20 – 30% من المرضى المصابين بحمى رثوية حادة.
The recurrence of rheumatic fever is relatively common in the absence of maintenance of low dose antibiotics, especially during the first three to five years after the first episode. تكرار الحمى الروماتيزميه نوعا ما شائع في غياب استمرار اخد جرعات صغيره من المضادات الحيوية، خصوصا في أول ثلاث إلى خمس سنين بعد أول حادثه.
The appearance of comorbidity was demonstrated by Feinstein using the example of patients physically suffering from rheumatic fever, discovering the worst state of the patients, who simultaneously suffered from multiple diseases. وُضّح ظهور المصطلح على يد فنستين مستخدماً مثال مريضٍ يعاني جسدياً من حمّى روماتزمية مكتشفاً اسوأ حالةٍ للمريض الذي كان يعاني من عدة امراض.
The cause is thought to be akin to that of Sydenham's chorea, which is known to result from childhood Group A streptococcal (GAS) infection leading to the autoimmune disorder acute rheumatic fever of which Sydenham's is one manifestation. يُعتقد أن السبب أقرب إلى سبب مرض رقاص سيدنهام والذي يُعرف بكونه ناتج عن عدوى مجموعة أ من البكتيريا السبحية في الطفولة مما يؤدي إلى الحمى الرثوية الحادة والتي يُعد رقاص سيدنهام أحد أعراضها.
