الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة

• Acting under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, the Council established the Mission for an initial period of six months, deciding to review the question of its termination every six months.
  متصرفًا بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، أنشأ المجلس البعثة لفترة أولية مدتها ستة أشهر، وقرر استعراض مسألة إنهائها كل ستة أشهر.
• Acting under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, the Council deplored Iraq's refusal to allow access to the sites by weapons inspection teams, in violation of previous Security Council resolutions.
  وقد أعرب المجلس، متصرفا بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، عن أسفه لرفض العراق السماح لفرق تفتيش الأسلحة بالوصول إلى المواقع، انتهاكا لقرارات مجلس الأمن السابقة.
• The resolution decided that if the conditions set in it and previous resolutions were violated the Council would reconsider the matter with a view to action under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
  القرار قرر أنه إذا كانت الشروط المحددة فيه والسابقة قد انتهكت قرارات المجلس بإعادة النظر في هذه المسألة بغية اتخاذ إجراءات بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة.
• The resolution decided that if the conditions set in it and previous resolutions were violated the Council would reconsider the matter with a view to action under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
  القرار قرر أنه إذا كانت الشروط المحددة فيه والسابقة قد انتهكت قرارات المجلس بإعادة النظر في هذه المسألة بغية اتخاذ إجراءات بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة.
• Acting under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, the resolution condemned the refusal of the Iraqi authorities to allow access to sites designated by the Special Commission, in violation of previous Security Council resolutions.
  وقد أدان القرار، متصرفا بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، رفض السلطات العراقية السماح بالوصول إلى المواقع التي حددتها اللجنة الخاصة، في انتهاك لقرارات مجلس الأمن السابقة.
• The resolution, acting under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, condemned Iraq's continued violations of its obligations under the resolutions and demanded that the country fully and unconditionally co-operate with the Special Commission.
  وقد أدان هذا القرار، متصرفا بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، استمرار العراق في انتهاك التزاماته بموجب القرارات، وطالب بأن يتعاون البلد تعاونا كاملا وغير مشروط مع اللجنة الخاصة.
• Acting under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, the Council lifted prohibitions–ban on military sales, air communications and certain oil equipment–imposed in previous resolutions concerning Libya and dissolved the Committee established to monitor the sanctions.
  وقام المجلس، متصرفا بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، برفع أشكال الحظر–حظر المبيعات العسكرية، والاتصالات الجوية، وبعض معدات النفط–المفروضة في القرارات السابقة المتعلقة بليبيا، وحل اللجنة المنشأة لرصد العقوبات.
• Acting under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, the Council condemned the Iraqi non-compliance with previous Security Council resolutions and the memorandum of understanding signed earlier in 1998 and demanded that it withdraw its refusal.
  وقد أدان المجلس، متصرفًا بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، عدم امتثال العراق لقرارات مجلس الأمن السابقة و‌مذكرة التفاهم الموقعة في وقت سابق من عام 1998 وطالب بسحب رفضه.
• Acting under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, the Council demanded the immediate release of foreign nationals as well as all nationals mentioned in Resolution 664, reminding it of its international obligations according to the Vienna Conventions.
  وقد طالب المجلس، متصرفًا بموجب الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، الإفراج الفوري عن الرعايا الأجانب وجميع الرعايا المذكورين في القرار 664، مذكرًا إياه بالتزاماته الدولية وفقًا لاتفاقيات فيينا.
