دورة الوقود

• If spent fuel is not reprocessed, the fuel cycle is referred to as an open fuel cycle (or a once-through fuel cycle); if the spent fuel is reprocessed, it is referred to as a closed fuel cycle.
  فإذا لم يتم معالجة الوقود المستنفد، فيُشار إليها بدورة الوقود المفتوحة (أو دورة وقود المرة الواحدة)، أما إذا تم إعادة تصنيعها في الوقود المستهلك، فُيشار إلى أنها دورة وقود مغلقة.
• Its members come from all parts of the nuclear fuel cycle, including uranium mining, uranium conversion, uranium enrichment, nuclear fuel fabrication, plant manufacture, transport, and the disposition of used nuclear fuel as well as electricity generation itself.
  يأتي دورها في جميع أجزاء دورة الوقود النووي بما في ذلك تعدين اليورانيوم وتحويل اليورانيوم وتخصيب اليورانيوم وتصنيع الوقود النووي وصناعة المفاعلات والنقل والتصرف في الوقود النووي المستخدم وكذلك توليد الكهرباء.

• Iran's offer to open its uranium enrichment program to foreign private and public participation mirrors suggestions of an IAEA expert committee which was formed to investigate the methods to reduce the risk that sensitive fuel cycle activities could contribute to national nuclear weapons capabilities.
  عرضت إيران فتح برنامجها لتخصيب اليورانيوم لمشاركات أجنبية خاصة وعامة لعكس اقتراحات لجنة خبراء الوكالة الدولية والتي تم تشكيلها للتحقيق في طرق للحد من خطر الأنشطة الحساسة لدورة الوقود، وبحيث يمكن أن تسهم في القدرات الوطنية لإنتاج الأسلحة النووية.
