  وفقا للقانون الدولي ضمان أن قانون حماية حقوق الملكية الفكرية لا يشكل عائقا تعسفيا أو تمييزيا إلى إمكانية حصول الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة من المواد الثقافية.
• Although the Suriname government requested to have the case declared as insusceptible, the committee judged that the 15 victims were "arbitrarily deprived of their lives contrary to article 6 (1) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights", and appealed Suriname to investigate the murders and prosecute the ones responsible.
  على الرغم من ذلك فقد طالبت الحكومة السورينامية باعتبار ان الحكم على الضحايا الخمسة عشر كان تعسفيا وادى إلى حرمانهم من حقهم في الحياة والذي يتنافى مع المادة 6 (1) من العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية، وناشدت سورينام للتحقيق في جرائم القتل وملاحقة المسؤولين.
