Waleed grew up in Darayya and studied English Literature at Damascus University before becoming a teacher in her native Syria. وُلدت خلود وليد في داريا بسوريا ثم درست الأدب الإنجليزي في جامعة دمشق قبل أن تُصبح معلمة في بلدها الأم سوريا.
