Tamale was the dean of the Faculty of Law and Jurisprudence at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda, from 2004 to 2008. تُعتبر تامالي عميدة كلية الحقوق والفقه القانوني في جامعة ماكيريري في كامبالا، أوغندا بين 2004 و2008.
