اللغة النرويجية

• The basis for the High Norwegian language direction, is a wish to preserve the New Norwegian written language as an independent language, free of the strong influence from Bokmål that today's New Norwegian has.
  أساس إتجاه اللغة النرويجية العليا هو الحفاظ على اللغة النرويجية الجديدة المكتوبة كلغةٍ مستقلة، خالية من تأثير البوكمول القوي الذي عند النرويجية الجديدة.
• Norwegian viewers were quick to share translated clips quickly after availability through Google Drive, and also started blogs to cover additional material and language courses to explain Norwegian slang.
  كما سارع المشاهدون النرويجيون إلى مشاركة المقاطع المترجمة بسرعة بعد توفرها عبر جوجل درايف، كما بدأوا في إنشاء مدونات لتغطية مواد إضافية ودورات لغة لتقريب اللغة النرويجية العامية.
• Not only did they collect and secure parts of the wealth of Norwegian fairy tales and edit them for common readers, but in doing this, they also contributed to the development of the Norwegian language.

• The first element is the Norwegian word Midtre meaning "middle" and the last part is Gauldal which is the name of the valley through which the river Gaula flows.
  الجزء الأول ميدترة يعني باللغة النرويجية "الأوسط" أو "المتوسط"، أما الجزء الأخير غاولدال فهو اسم الوادي الذي ينبع منه نهر غاولا، وبالتي يكون اسم البلدية يعني "الجزء الأوسط من غاولدالن".

• The Norwegian written language at this time gradually fell into disuse and was eventually abandoned altogether in favor of written Danish, the culminating event being the translation in 1604 of Magnus the Lawmender's code into Danish.

• The Norwegian Academy for Language and Literature was represented, along with other non-governmental language organisations, in the Norwegian Language Council, which regulates the official Bokmål and Nynorsk languages, since its establishment in 1972 until it was reorganized in 2005.
  كانت تُمثل الأكاديمية النرويجية جنباً إلى جنب منظمات لغوية أخرى غير حكومية في مجلس اللغة النرويجية، الذي يُنظم الشكلين اللغويين بوكمول ونينوشك، منذ تأسيسه في 1972 حتى أُعيد تنظيمه في 2005.
• There are, however, a number of spoken varieties of Norwegian that are close or largely identical to written Bokmål, sometimes even in a conservative form similar to historical Dano-Norwegian - notably, the higher sociolect in Oslo and in other cities in Eastern Norway.
