• The poem is a fictionalised account of Alauddin Khilji's 1303 siege of Chittorgarh in Rajputana (present-day Rajasthan).
  القصيدة بدورها هي تصوير تخيلي لحصار علاء الدين الخلجي سنة 1303 لتشيتورجاره في راجبوتانا (راجستان في الوقت الحالي).
