• The BBC Arabic reported that his case "received considerable attention by the international media", citing an article in The Independent as an example.
  ذكرت بي بي سي العربية أن قضيته "تلقى اهتماما كبيرا من قبل وسائل الإعلام الدولية" نقلا عن مقال نشر في صحيفة الإندبندنت كمثال على ذلك.
