• The Council reiterated the use of peaceful means to resolve international problems, requesting the Secretary-General to enter into consultations with the Government of Lesotho on humanitarian issues, and to report back to the Council regularly on the implementation of the resolution.
  وكرر المجلس تأكيد استخدام الوسائل السلمية لحل المشاكل الدولية، وطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يدخل في مشاورات مع حكومة ليسوتو بشأن المسائل الإنسانية، وأن يقدم إلى المجلس بانتظام تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار.
• According to the negotiated peace declaration, the two parties pledged to give peaceful means a “strategic priority to settle the conflict in Darfur”, and to take the required measures to create “an opportune environment to achieve a lasting settlement”, including the halting of “inconvenience to the displaced and ensuring the flow of relief aid”.
  وفقا لإعلان السلام المتفاوض عليه تعهد الطرفان بإعطاء الوسائل السلمية "أولوية استراتيجية لتسوية الصراع في دارفور" واتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لخلق "بيئة ملائمة لتحقيق تسوية دائمة" بما في ذلك وقف "إزعاج النازحين وضمان تدفق المساعدات الغوثية".
