Baharnah are thought to be descendants of Abd al-Qays tribe who had lived in Bahrain since the second century (AD). يعتقد البحارنة أنهم من نسل قبيلة عبد القيس الذين عاشوا في البحرين منذ القرن الثاني الهجري.
