• The Florentines had to dispute the city with the Republic of Venice, but they ultimately emerged victorious after seven years of Venetian rule (1395–1402).

• A treaty or "Capitulation" was signed between Venice and the Ottoman Empire to end the war on 2 October 1540.
  بعد انتهاء الحرب، وُقعت "معاهدة" أو "وثيقة استسلام" بين جمهورية البندقية والإمبراطورية العثمانية لإنهاء الحرب في 2 أكتوبر 1540م، وفتح التجارة بين البندقية والدولة العثمانية.
• Padua came under the rule of the Republic of Venice in 1405, and mostly remained that way until the fall of the Republic of Venice in 1797.
