• Extrajudicial killings should never be supported or promoted by any civilised nation." Grenada – Prime Minister Tillman Thomas referred to Gaddafi’s death as "unfortunate". Mexico – In statement Foreign Ministry said that "in light of the events today in Libya and the death of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, Mexico hopes to soon restore peace in that country, begin a process of national reconciliation and generate the conditions to build an inclusive government." Nicaragua – President Daniel Ortega condemned the death of Muammar Gaddafi.
