• Hezbollah issued a statement saying that the IDF had killed three Hezbollah fighters during fighting around Kfar Kila, Adaisse, and Taibeh, near the Lebanese town of Marjayoun.
  وأصدر حزب الله بيانا قال فيه إن الجيش الإسرائيلي قتل ثلاثة من مقاتلي حزب الله أثناء القتال حول كفركلا والعديسة والطيبة بالقرب من بلدة مرجعيون اللبنانية.
• On August 11, following the billeting of IDF in the Lebanese Army base in Marjayoun a convoy of cars carrying Lebanese army, police and civilians was escorted by the UN away from the area.
  في 11 أغسطس وبعد إلقاء قوات الدفاع الإسرائيلية في قاعدة مرجعيون في الجيش اللبناني قامت الأمم المتحدة بمرافقة قافلة من السيارات تحمل الجيش اللبناني والشرطة والمدنيين من المنطقة.
• On the night of August 8, units belonging to the reserve brigade of the 366th Division ("Pillar of Fire" Formation), under the command of Brigadier General Erez Zuckerman, advanced northward and reached the Christian town of Marj’ayoun, 9 kilometers from the border.
  في ليلة 8 أغسطس تقدمت وحدات تابعة للواء الاحتياطي الفرقة 366 (عمود النار) بقيادة العميد إيريز زوكرمان شمالا ووصلت إلى بلدة مرجعيون المسيحية على بعد 9 كيلومترات من الحدود.
