هيراطيقي

• Writing in ancient Egypt—both hieroglyphic and hieratic—first appeared in the late 4th millennium BC during the late phase of predynastic Egypt.
  ظهرت الكتابة في مصر القديمة سواءً الهيروغليفية أو الهيراطيقية لأول مرة في نهاية الألف الرابعة قبل الميلاد في مرحلة متأخرة من عصر ما قبل الأسرات.
• Whereas the writing of hieroglyphs required the utmost precision and care, cursive hieratic could be written much more quickly and was therefore more practical for scribal record-keeping.
  ونظرًا لحاجة الكتابة الهيروغليفية للدقة والعناية عند كتابتها، على النقيض من الكتابة الهيراطيقية الأسهل والأسرع عند كتابتها، لذا استخدمت الهيراطيقية لحفظ السجلات.

• Most of the forty or so inscriptions have been found among much more numerous hieratic and hieroglyphic inscriptions, scratched on rocks near and in the turquoise mines and along the roads leading to the temple.

  اعتمادا على علم الخطاطة وقواعد الكتابة الهيراطيقية، فإن نص البردية على الأرجح كتب خلال الأسرة الثالثة عشر، واستنادا إلى المواد القديمة المستخدمة التي يرجع تاريخها إلى الأسرة الثانية عشرة في مصر أي حوالي عام 1850 قبل الميلاد.
