At least 50 people - mainly women and children - are killed when the Assad regime targeted the Douma town in an opposition-held suburb of Damascus with barrel bombs. معظمهم من النساء والأطفال - عندما استهدف نظام الأسد بلدة دوما في ضاحية دمشق التي تسيطر عليها المعارضة براميل متفجرة.
The Observatory said Douma residents responded to the shootings in their city by organising a mass strike and flooding into the city square for a sit-in thousands strong. وقال المرصد ان سكان دوما ردوا على اطلاق النار في مدينتهم من خلال تنظيم اضراب جماعى والفيضانات في ساحة المدينة لاعتصام الالاف.
The main rebel faction in the area was Jaysh al-Islam, based in Douma (with an estimated 10,000–15,000 fighters in the region in early 2018). وكان الفصيل المتمرد الرئيسي في المنطقة جيش الإسلام، ومقره في دوما (مع ما يقدر بنحو 10 آلاف و 000 15 مقاتل في المنطقة في أوائل عام 2018).

Regime air force launched a deadly airstrike on the rebel-held city of Douma in the suburb of Damascus, killing more than 40 civilians and wounding 75 others. شنت القوات الجوية للنظام غارة جوية قاتلة على مدينة دوما التى يسيطر عليها المتمردون في ضاحية دمشق مما اسفر عن مصرع أكثر من 40 مدنيا واصابة 75 اخرين.
A video reportedly by the FSA said that if the Syrian army stormed Douma they would fire rockets at the presidential palace and execute 5 senior officers they captured. جاء في شريط فيديو أورده الجيش الحر أنه إذا اقتحم الجيش السوري دوما فإنهم سيطلقون صواريخ على القصر الرئاسي ويعدمون 5 من كبار الضباط الذين أسروهم.
At least 23 people were allegedly killed across Syria, with 15 killed in Daraa Governorate, two killed in Douma and Harasta, and six killed in Homs. وقيل إن ما لا يقل عن 23 شخصا قتلوا في جميع أنحاء سوريا، حيث قتل 15 شخصا في محافظة درعا، وقتل اثنان في دوما وحرستا، و 6 قتلى في حمص.
