The shelter of the Oghuz tribes was a tent-like dwelling, erected on wooden poles and covered with skin, felt, or hand-woven textiles, which is called a yurt. كما كان المؤى و البيت عند قبائل الأوغوز مسكن تشبه الخيمة، نصبت على أعمدة خشبية ومغطاة الجلد، شعر، أو المنسوجات اليدوية، وهو ما يسمى بيورت.
Ibn al-Athir, an Arab historian, stated that the Oghuz Turks had come to Transoxiana in the period of the caliph Al-Mahdi in the years between 775 and 785. حيث أشار ابن الأثير وهو مؤرخ عربي، أن الأتراك الأوغوز جاءوا إلى بلاد ما وراء النهر في فترة الخليفة المهدي في السنوات ما بين 775م و 785م.

The Oguz Yabgu State (Oguz il, meaning Oguz Land, Oguz Country, 750–1055) was a Turkic state, founded by Oghuz Turks in 766, located geographically in an area between the coasts of the Caspian and Aral Seas. دولة اوغوز ياغبو (اوغوز ياغبو، تعنى أرض الغز، دولة أوغوز, 750–1055) كانت دولة تركية التي أسسها الأتراك الأوغوز في 766، وتقع جغرافيا في منطقة بين سواحل بحر قزوين وبحر آرال.
