The Society met biannually until 1982, meeting once in the summer in conjunction with the Linguistic Institute and once in the winter. كانت الجمعية تجتمع مرتين في السنة؛ مرة في الصيف بالتزامن مع المعهد اللغوي ومرة أخرى في الشتاء، وسرى على هذا المنوال حتى عام 1982.
The board of trustees issued a decision stipulating that the prize shall be awarded during a ceremony held biannually to provide the committees and participating researchers with adequate time to prepare and write their researches and to issue publications about the selected poets of the meetings and their creative work. صدر قرار عن مجلس الأمناء تحدد بموجبه منح الجائزة في حفل يقام كل عامين بهدف إعطاء الوقت الكافي للجان وإتاحة الفرصة للباحثين المشاركين في الندوة لكتابة أبحاثهم والإعداد لها إعدادًا مناسبًا، ولإصدار المطبوعات عن شاعر الدورة وإبداعاته بشكل لائق.
