The ramus is almost vertical in direction, the angle measuring from 110° to 120°, also the adult condyle is higher than the coronoid process and the sigmoid notch becomes deeper. يكون الفرع تقريباً عموديّ الاتجاه، و تقيس الزاوية من 110 درجة إلى 120 درجة، أيضاً تكون اللُقيمة البالغة أطول من الناتئ اللقمي و الثلمة السينيّة تصبح أعمق.
